Shelters for Survivors
Shelters for survivors of abuse provide safe, confidential spaces for individuals escaping situations of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other forms of harm. These shelters offer immediate protection, temporary housing, food, and basic necessities while helping survivors stabilize and regain safety. Many also connect individuals with supportive services such as counseling, trauma-informed mental health care, legal advocacy, and assistance with long-term housing and employment. Above all, these shelters focus on creating a secure and supportive environment where survivors can begin rebuilding their lives with dignity, privacy, and care.
